The carnival grounds are located on East Main Street
near the football and baseball fields.
- Annual Labor Day Gospel Concert
Many great gospel
groups come to play at Henryetta's Labor Day Gospel Concert inside the Henryetta High School Auditorium on the Saturday before Labor Day.
- Miss Labor Day Beauty Contests
Labor Day Baby contests and the Miss Labor Day Beauty Contests
are held each year in the Henryetta High School Auditorium on the
weekend prior to Labor Day. The winners are honored in the Labor Day
Parade every year.
- Living Legends Rodeo

The Living Legends Rodeo is held on the Sunday
before Labor Day and on Labor Day every year inside the Living Legends
Rodeo Arena in Nichols Park. The Sunday performance begins at 8:00
p.m., and the Labor Day performance begins at 2:00 p.m. Over 1,500
spectators come to see about 300 cowboys and cowgirls compete at the Living Legends Rodeo
every year. Rodeo events include bull riding, barrel racing, team
roping, steer wrestling, calf roping, bare back riding, and saddle
bronc riding. Event concessions include food, drinks, and candy.

The Labor Day Car Show began at 8:00 a.m. on Labor Day in 2005. Many classic and unique vehicles were featured in the car show last year. The car
show winners received a lot of recognition, trophies, and other gifts. Most of the
car show entrants participated in the Labor Day Parade last year as well, and the winners
were showcased during the parade.
- Labor Day Parade
The Henryetta Labor Day Parade begins at 10:00
a.m. on Main Street in Henryetta. Thousands of spectators gather on
Main Street to watch this parade each year.
- Labor Day
Games
The Labor Day Games for children and adults begin shortly after the Labor Day Parade,
and continue throughout most of day. Last year's games included the
Fish Scramble, Frog Hoppin Contest, Terrapin Race, Egg Toss, Brick
Throw, Penny Hunt, Wheel Barrel Race, and the Baby Crawling Contest,
just to name a few.
- Labor Day Barbeque Dinner
Local labor organizations host the Labor Day Barbeque Dinner every year around noon
at the Henryetta Civic Center. Last year the meal only cost $5.00.
- Fireworks at dusk
Labor Day always ends with a bang in Henryetta with a professional fireworks
show at Cameron Field.

Halloween Treat Day
October 31
Henryetta's Main Street merchants host the
Annual Merchants Halloween Treat Day
by handing out candy to hundreds of trick or treaters each year.
Parents bring their children to the Territorial Park after school on
Halloween, and large groups are given a list of participating merchants
along Main Street. The groups stop at each participating merchant to
trick or treat, and most merchants give candy to even the oldest trick
or treaters in costume. Halloween Treat Day provides a safe, secure
environment for youngsters to trick or treat. Parents are always
encouraged to escort their children throughout the walking tour.
Christmas Give-A-Way
The Christmas "Santa Bucks" Give-A-Way is
sponsored annually by the Chamber Retail Merchants Committee. Shoppers receive
one ticket for every $20 purchase made at any of the participating merchant
shops. A drawing is held on a Saturday approximately two weeks before Christmas
in Veteran's Park just east of the Henryetta Public Library. Each year, a lucky
shopper wins $3,000 in Santa Bucks, which may be spent at any of the
participating retailers. The primary sponsors for this event are American
Exchange Bank, First Family Credit Union and the First National Bank of
Henryetta.
