Halloween Treat Day

October 31

Henryetta's Main Street merchants host the Annual Merchants Halloween Treat Day by handing out candy to hundreds of trick or treaters each year. Parents bring their children to the Territorial Park after school on Halloween, and large groups are given a list of participating merchants along Main Street. The groups stop at each participating merchant to trick or treat, and most merchants give candy to even the oldest trick or treaters in costume. Halloween Treat Day provides a safe, secure environment for youngsters to trick or treat. Parents are always encouraged to escort their children throughout the walking tour.
