Since opening its doors in 1981, Henryetta Medical Center has been dedicated to providing quality health care. The 41-bed acute care hospital is located at Dewey Bartlett and Main, Henryetta Medical Center provides a wide range of services, including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, geriatric behavioral healthcare, obstetrics, sleep medicine, and home health, as well as imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services. |

From its location at the highway crossroads of I-40 and I-75 in the heart of Creek Indian Territory, it serves the communities of Henryetta, Okemah, Dewar, Hoffman, Bryant and much of Okmulgee County. Henryetta Medical Center joined the Hillcrest HealthCare System in October of 1997. The emergency room is staffed by a physician 24 hours a day. The hospital medical staff includes nine active physicians living and practicing full-time in Henryetta, 48 specialty physicians visiting regularly, and a nursing staff specially trained to assist the elderly. Henryetta Medical Center meets a wide variety of health needs from family care and orthopedics to cardiology and ophthalmology. In 1977, the Henryetta Hospital Authority was established to construct and operate Henryetta Medical Center.In 1997 the Hospital Authority entered into an agreement with Hillcrest HealthCare System to manage Henryetta Medical Center. Over the last 13 years, the partnership has been productive and the two parties continue to expand and improve the delivery of healthcare to the citizens of Henryetta and the surrounding communities. In the last seven years, the citizens of Henryetta have benefited from a collaborative public/private partnership as the Authority has funded nearly $3M in hospital improvement projects at Henryetta Medical Center.· Below are examples of those projects. The Dialysis center located just north of the Henryetta medical Center is a life-saving facility for many area residents. Established in 1999, the facility treats patients throughout the entire region. |
